Followup training after receiving your teaching certificate
If you’re about to begin a career teaching golf, you should consider taking advanced practical training before you start teaching. You don’t get a second chance to make that critical first impression with your clients. Even simple things like having professional business cards to online scheduling and tracking of appointments can favorably differentiate your services from the average golf instructor.
I offer you an opportunity to spend a few days learning what it takes to successfully start a business teaching golf. You will learn in a one-on-one environment working with me personally in my own private teaching studio in St. Catharines, Ontario. Pick my brain. Learn from my experiences. Find out what kind of equipment you’ll need Learn about (and how to use) an online appointment scheduling system. Thought about your website? Maintenance? Keeping track of lessons? Rates? Winter programs? Gift Certificates? Email lists? Business cards? Advertising? Benefit from seeing an active teaching facility from behind the scenes. Ask lots of questions, get straightforward answers. What do things cost? Where do you get it? How did you ……….
In addition, you will learn and understand how to teach using video. Think of it as a train the trainer program. We’ll start by dissecting your swing using the V1 Video Analysis System. You’ll quickly get to know and understand more about your swing than you thought possible. You’ll also observe me with my own students and when you’re ready, I’ll give you an opportunity to work with them too.
